Semiconductor Chips: Powering AI and tech from the shadows

AI is the football star and chips are the coach.

Everyone is talking about AI but semiconductor companies are actually the ones selling the proverbial pickaxe in the gold rush.

The top semi-conductor companies (NVIDIA, TSMC, ASML, AMD etc.) are up anywhere between 150% to 700% over the last 5 years. Nvidia is now a Trillion Dollar company. ASML is a super critical geopolitical tool and the sales of it's advanced EUV machines have been restricted to China. TSMC is being asked to build supply chains in US.

Media and VCs are focused on AI and software but the biggest changes seem to be happening in hardware.
